If you would like SuDS planning advice before submitting a planning application, you can complete our online application form.
We strongly recommend seeking advice at an early stage, as this can help save time during the formal planning application consultation process.
We can provide SuDS planning advice at any point during the planning application process. However, our preference is for advice to be sought early in the design stage.
How to apply:

Once you have submitted the form, you will be prompted to make a payment.
- The cost of pre-application advice depends on the size of the development.
- Fees range from £146.08 to £651.75.
- The application form will confirm the fee you need to pay.

What do I need to include with my application?
The documents required for our pre-application advice service will vary depending on the nature of your proposal.
As a guide, you may wish to provide the following supporting information:
- Drainage plan, layout or proposal
- Site location plan
- Site layout plan
- Draft Flood Risk Assessment (FRA)
- Summary of site constraints and restriction
